"I really liked how specific, detailed, and process focused [Cho] was. [He] didn’t really care if the answer was right or wrong at the beginning - he emphasized the importance of the process. I also thought he did a great job with nailing down the fundamentals, especially with conditional logic, before really diving in to drilling. "Cho is an incredible LSAT tutor. Cho takes the time to understand his client's areas for growth and improvement, which in turn leads to a more personalized tutoring program. Cho is highly prepared for each session with a clear roadmap for the day's lessons. I got the sense that Cho limited the size of his tutoring program so as to really dedicate his time and attention to each student. Cho was always honest with me about how he would be able to help me, and let me know when more tutoring sessions wouldn't be helpful (versus strengthening skills on my own). I think honesty is important in any LSAT tutoring relationship. Honesty keeps students accountable for and empowered as to their own role in their LSAT journey, as they are reminded to trust themselves and believe in the value of their own, independent hard work. Before starting with Cho, certain question types and approaches created anxiety for me. I was not confident that I could master these question types for test day. Cho was able to help me look at these question types from a new perspective and I was able to enter test day feeling fully confident that I could take on such questions, as needed. While I started with practice test performances in a relatively high score range, I was not at all consistent in achieving my target score. With Cho's help, I was able to gain consistency. I think Impetus LSAT can be very helpful for someone like me who had the potential to be a relatively high scorer, but wanted to ensure that their skills showed up on test day through mastering specific areas of weakness in tutoring. I truly feel that the calm, client-first, non-judgmental, skill-building approach that Cho takes with his students is what sets Impetus LSAT apart from other LSAT tutoring programs.
