Who We Serve
Impetus LSAT was founded in direct response to the shortcomings of traditional LSAT prep. Most large LSAT prep companies claimed to be personalized while repeating generic strategies. The traditional methods involved cramming hundreds of practice questions and giving superficial explanations as to why each answer is right or wrong, hoping something eventually clicks. These methods also did not provide structure on what to do between sessions, leaving most students confused, discouraged, and burned out. On the other hand, many individual tutors were treating it as a temporary gig before attending law school, so they did not truly care for the students' success.
Impetus LSAT was founded in direct opposition to these services with the intent to provide truly personalized instruction through detailed analysis, structured daily plans, and a true passion for helping the student achieve their dreams. Our teaching approach involves step-by-step methodologies for those who have inconsistent results due to relying heavily on intuition alone. It was founded to help those who are dissatisfied with the traditional methods and are seeking a proven method.

Q: What happens if I miss a tutoring session? A: We ask students to provide 24-hour notice if unable to attend a scheduled session. However, we understand that unexpected situations arise and do not penalize for missed sessions. Students may reschedule without penalty for occasional absences, but recurring issues may result in a small fee to accommodate others who could have reserved the time slot.
